JBC2026ではBHS主催の国際大会と同様に、Musicality, Performance および Singingの3つのカテゴリで審査が行われます。
審査はBHSの公認審査員によって行われます。
At JBC2026, judging will be conducted in three categories—Musicality, Performance, and Singing—just like in the international contest hosted by BHS.
The evaluation will be carried out by certified BHS judges.
Musicality category
Alex Morris
Alex は 2009 年に西オーストラリア大学で音楽学士（作曲）を修了しました。作曲家、アレンジャー、合唱指揮者として高い評価を受けており、世界中で求められる存在です。ボーカルコーチとしてクラスを教え、ワークショップを開催し、バーバーショップ・ハーモニー・ソサエティの「Harmony University」に定期的に講師として参加しています。2022 年には、Barbershop Harmony Australia の殿堂入りを果たしました。
現在 Alex は、Naarm の北部に拠点を置く新進気鋭の合唱団「Laneway City Singers」の共同音楽監督を務めています。Laneway City Singers は 2025 年、キャンベラで Barbershop Harmony Australia に初出場し、記録的な得点で銀メダルを獲得しました。
Alex は Vocal Evolution の元音楽監督として、同団を Barbershop Harmony Australia の金メダルへ 3 度導いたほか、Geelong Harmony Chorus（Sweet Adelines Australia）、shOUT Youth Chorus、そしてカルト的な人気を誇る Shania Choir や The Shanties Choir の音楽監督も務めました。
Bae Marie として定期的にパフォーマンスを行い、クィア・パフォーマンスアートを通じて子どもから大人まで楽しめるインタラクティブな体験を創り出してきました。また DJ としても名を馳せており、ハイエナジーなセットと存在感のあるステージングで知られています。2021 年 12 月には、Naarm の新進クィア DJ のための月例パフォーマンスプラットフォーム「Sunday School」を立ち上げました。

Alex completed a Bachelor of Music (Composition) at the University of Western Australia in 2009. An accomplished composer, arranger and choral director Alex is in demand around theworld as a vocal coach teaching classes and running workshops with regular app earances as faculty at the Barbershop Harmony Society Harmony University. In 2022 Alex was inducted intothe Barbershop Harmony Australia Hall of Fame.
Alex is currently the co-Musical Director of Laneway City Singers – an exciting new chorus based in the inner north of Naarm. Lanway City Singers made their Barbershop Harmony Australia debut in Canberra in 2025 taking home the silver medal with a record-breaking score.
Alex is the former Music Director of Vocal Evolution, leading them to three Barbershop Harmony Australia gold medals as well as former Music Director with Geelong Harmony Chorus (Sweet Adelines Australia, shOUT Youth Chorus and the cult choir sensations Shania Choir and The Shanties Choir.
Performing regularly as Bae Marie, Alex has used queer performance art to develop interactive experiences for children and adults alike. Alex has made a name for himself as a DJ spinninghigh energy sets with a presence behind the decks to match. In December 2021 Alex launched Sunday School which is a monthly performance platform for emerging queer DJs in Naarm.
He has a passion for education and loves nothing more than to share the joy of music.

Charlotte Murray
シャーロット・マレーは、ニュージーランド・ウェリントンで 25 年以上にわたり高校の音楽教育者として活動してきました。シャーロットがバーバーショップを愛するようになったのは、高校最終学年の頃に、国際カルテットチャンピオンである Second Edition の演奏を聴いたことがきっかけでした。
1998 年に母校であるタワ・カレッジへ教師として戻った際、彼女はバーバーショッププログラムを引き継ぎました。現在では、毎週のバーバーショップ合唱やカルテット活動に 120 名の高校生が参加しています。彼女の教え子には、2014 年 BHS 国際カルテットチャンピオンの Musical Island Boys も含まれています。
地域では、高校生向けのバーバーショップワークショップやコンテストの企画・運営に深く関わっています。シャーロットは BHS マスターディレクターであり、Vocal FX Chorus の共同創設者兼ディレクターとして、同団を BHS 国際大会で何度もトップ 10 入りへ導いてきました。また、BHS およびオーストララシア・ギルド・オブ・バーバーショップ・ジャッジズのパフォーマンス部門ジャッジでもあります。

Charlotte Murray has been a high school music educator in Wellington, New Zealand, for over 25 years. Charlotte first discovered a love of barbershop after hearing visiting International Quartet Champions, Second Edition, in her final years of high school.
When she returned to her old high school, Tawa College, as a teacher in 1998, she took over the barbershop programme. Today, she has 120 high school students involved in weekly barbershop chorus or quartet singing. Her past students include Musical Island Boys, 2014 BHS International Quartet Champions.
In her region, Charlotte is heavily involved in organising and leading barbershop workshops and competitions for high school students. Charlotte is a BHS Master Director and the co-founder and director of Vocal FX Chorus, which has placed in the top 10 at the BHS International numerous times. Charlotte is a Performance Category Judge for the BHS and the Australasian Guild of Barbershop Judges.
In 2022, she was awarded the Joe Liles Lifetime Achievement Award, which honours those who have demonstrated lifelong commitment to the barbershop style, raised the standards of excellence, and, through their leadership, helped barbershop move forward.
Charlotte loves passing on what has been shared with her over the years through teaching at Harmony Education Aotearoa events. She has been fortunate to be invited to teach at barbershop education events in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
Singing category
Peter Cunningham
ピーターは 2008 年以来、Barbershop Harmony Society の献身的なメンバーとして活動しています。Singingカテゴリーの認定ジャッジであり、Singingカテゴリーのジャッジ委員会のメンバーとしても務め、2017 年から Harmony University の講師も担当しています。

Peter has been a dedicated member of the Barbershop Harmony Society since 2008. A certified Singing Judge, he also serves on the Singing Category Board of Review and has been a faculty member at Harmony University since 2017.
Peter's performance credentials include singing Lead in The Academy, the 2014 International Collegiate Quartet Champions, as well as Lead and Baritone in Southern Stride, the 2018 U.S. representatives to the World Mixed Quartet Contest. Currently, he sings Lead with Opus IV, the 2024 Southwestern District Quartet Champions.
In addition to performing, Peter is a sought-after clinician and coach, having worked with youth events, choruses, quartets, and individual singers across the globe. He has held numerous leadership roles, including chorus director, music team leader, and section leader.
Peter shares his life with his lovely wife, Sarah, and their two daughters, Annalise and Claire, and their dog Hazel.
