• JBC2025からの主な変更点（レギュレーションに記載している事項）：

  • Contestクラスを廃止し、ChampionshipクラスとPreliminaryクラスを新設します。この二つのクラスは便宜上分割されているものであり、優勝未経験のカルテットならびに昨年優勝のコーラス以外は、この二つに同時エントリーすることで大会参加できると考えていただいて結構ですので、あまり気にする必要はありません

  • ChampionshipクラスとPreliminaryクラスにおいて、BHSのInternational Convention参加権利獲得の条件が整理される予定です（2026年1月現在、調整中）。昨年まではJBCでよい成績を残すことが必ずしもInternationalにつながるとは限りませんでしたが、JBC2026からは制度として整備される予定です

  • コーラスの最少人数が9人となります。BHSのルールに準拠するためです。5人から8人の団体は、Evaluation Onlyクラスにエントリーしてください

  • 2日目への通過団体数が、10団体から、10団体程度で適宜判断、に変更となります。Contestクラスの再編による影響です。参加者の皆様の活動に直接的な影響はありません

Key changes from JBC2025 (as stated in the regulations):

• The Contest class will be abolished, and two new classes—the Championship class and the Preliminary class—will be established. These two classes are divided for administrative convenience, and you may consider that any quartet that has never won a championship, as well as any chorus other than last year’s champion, can participate in the competition by entering both classes simultaneously.

• In the Championship class and the Preliminary class, the conditions for obtaining eligibility to participate in the BHS International Convention are planned to be clarified (as of January 2026, this is still under adjustment). Until last year, achieving strong results at JBC did not necessarily lead to qualification for the International Convention; however, starting with JBC 2026, this will be formally organized as a system.

• The minimum number of members for a chorus will be nine. This change is to comply with BHS rules. Groups with five to eight members should enter the Evaluation Only class.

• The number of groups advancing to Day 2 will change from a fixed 10 groups to “approximately 10 groups, to be determined as appropriate.” This change is due to the reorganization of the Contest class and will not have any direct impact on participants’ activities.

・コーラスの場合、Directorの氏名

個人登録料および団体登録料の支払いは、2026年6月以降に開始する予定です。

エントリー後の事務局との連絡はLINEオープンチャットを予定しています。メンバーが誰もLINEオープンチャットに参加できない場合、エントリーフォーム内の連絡事項欄でご連絡ください。
なおLINEオープンチャットにはカルテットの場合4名全員が、コーラスの場合最大4名まで参加できます。
また、LINEオープンチャットへの招待は事務局からのメールでお送りします。
